CHICAGO and MADISON, Wis. – Wolf Appliance, Inc., a leading
manufacturer of premium cooking appliances, features its new E Series oven line. The
E Series offers consumers greater design flexibility and cooking confidence while still
incorporating the impressive technologies that consumers have grown accustomed to
with Wolf.
“Consumers love our existing single and double wall ovens, but with ever-changing ideas
about kitchen design in North America and internationally, coupled with evolving cooking
needs, there was a demand for more versatility in our oven line,” said Jim Bakke, president
and CEO of Wolf. “The new E Series provides a more contemporary look and feel from our
original L Series of built-in ovens without sacrificing any performance.”
In terms of design, the E Series can either “sit proud” so that the oven door stands out a bit
from the surrounding walls, or it can be installed to sit flush inset with adjacent cabinetry,
offering a sleek, European feel. While some signature design features haven’t changed – such
as the unique Wolf cobalt blue oven interior – other improvements have been made. For
example, a contemporary oven door handle is making its premiere with the E Series. This
handle will also be available as an accessory from sister company Sub-Zero, Inc., offering
consistent aesthetics across appliance lines.
Consumers can select E Series ovens in single and double 30-inch models in Wolf’s Classic
Stainless Steel finish and in framed and unframed door styles. Dual convection comes
standard with a single oven and in the upper unit of a double oven. The new line’s LCD control
panel has an easy-touch pad for temperature control and a sleek appeal. The E Series
control panel also comes with three levels of light intensity, three oven timer chime tones, a
12- or 24-hour clock option, and five language choices – English, French, Spanish, German
and Italian – to accommodate Wolf’s increasing international growth.
This new line builds on the Wolf standard of professional-style cooking control and easy-touse
technology by offering 10 different cooking modes, ensuring that dishes are prepared
masterfully every time. The cooking modes include bake, bake stone, broil, convection bake,
convection broil, convection roast, dehydration, roast, proof and convection.
While Wolf’s traditional full-extension bottom shelf that can rest on the oven door has
been extended to the E Series, a new balanced door hinge system allows the oven door
to stay put in the exact position it’s opened to. This makes it easier for cooks to gauge
the preparedness of their meals with minimal heat loss, ensuring great results.
